The National Cadet Competition was held in Evergreen Oregon this past weekend with teams competing from, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Missouri, New Jersey, California and Utah and all competing for the Nation’s top Drill Team, The National Champions Trophy . This Year I am proud to announce that Utah has won FIRST PLACE OVERALL. The team took first in the mile run, first in volleyball, first in test and first in standard drill. Braden Mickelson had won the male fleet foot award with his 4:40 mile run. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE DRILL TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this post is absolutely awesome. My name is Vicki Wendt. My husband and I were lost in the snow at Cedar Mountain and were rescued 2/11/09. We are absolutely fine. However, both of my feet were amputated on 5/4/09 below the knee. Since then, I have received prosthetics and I am learning how to walk again. I want to see my angels soon so within the next month, I should be able to rock and roll up to St. George to see you guys. Can't wait. elkovwendt@yahoo.com
